On October 25, 2022, the Ushio-Maru III sailed from Niigata to Hakodate.

　Ushio Maru III is 45.62m in length, 262 tons in gross tonnage, and equipped with the latest survey equipment. However, I feel that it still retains some of its predecessor's features.

And finally! On November 4, 2022, a completion ceremony will be held at the Hakodate Research Center for Fisheries and Oceans.

Immediately after, on November 5, the third-year students of the Applied Marine Science will depart for coastal training!

On November 4, it was the first snow of the year in Hakodate.
