初めてのカンボジア訪問で不安もありましたが、空港で現地の学生が迎えてくれたため安心しました。移動は大変でしたが、初日は観光を行い、2日目には大学を訪問して学生との交流を深めることができ、非常に貴重な経験となりました。（新谷）
カンボジアという国の特徴的な気候風土と水産業について深く学ぶことのできた一週間でした。農科大学での養殖研究やトンレサップ湖上の漁業コミュニティの実態など観光では得られない知見に溢れていて、心から行ってよかったです。（大道）
カンボジアの内水面漁業・養殖について、現地の方から直接お話を伺いながら学ぶことができました。また、水上に家が並び、生活そのものが湖と密接に結びついている光景から、カンボジアの文化や生活を肌で感じることができました。たくさんの学びと素敵な思い出をありがとうございました。（永井）

遊び疲れと寝不足でふらふらの最終発表でしたが、それほど濃密で充実した7日間を過ごせたことに一点の悔いもありません。最終日のアンコールワットは想像以上の階段地獄でしたが、事前に現地の学生さんから教わった歴史背景のおかげで、王朝の栄枯盛衰を肌で感じ、深く学ぶことができました。温かく迎えてくださった王立カンボジア農科大学の皆さんにまた会える日を、心から楽しみにしています。ぜひ日本に来たときにはお声がけください。（川島）អរគុណច្រើន（ありがとうございました）

As it was my first visit to Cambodia, I felt nervous at first, but I was relieved when local students welcomed me at the airport. Although the journey was tiring, sightseeing on the first day and visiting a university on the second day made it a valuable experience. (Shintani/ គឹមហេង)
This past week allowed me to gain a deep understanding of Cambodia’s unique climate and its fisheries industry. From aquaculture research at an agricultural university to the reality of fishing communities on Tonle Sap Lake, the trip was full of insights that you just can't get through regular tourism. I am truly glad I went. (Omichi/រតនា)
I learned a great deal about Cambodia’s inland fisheries and aquaculture by listening directly to the stories and experiences of local people. Seeing the houses built on the water and the way daily life is closely connected to the lake allowed me to truly feel the culture and lifestyle of Cambodia. Our trip to Cambodia was an incredible experience. We learned so much, particularly about fisheries in Cambodia. We sincerely appreciate everyone who supported us so kindly. I ended up giving my final presentation feeling a bit lightheaded from lack of sleep and all the fun we had. However, these seven days were so intense and fulfilling that I have absolutely no regrets.Angkor Wat on the final day was a bigger "staircase workout" than I expected! But thanks to the history the RUA students taught me beforehand, I was able to truly feel the rise and fall of the Angkor Empire and learn so much more.I’m truly looking forward to the day I can see everyone from the Royal University of Agriculture again.（Kawashima/នីតា）អរគុណច្រើន (Thank you so much)

Report of the Short Training Course of Sustainable Inland Fisheries and Aquaculture Management Leaders in Southeast Asia -Learning Satellite in Cambodia 2024 (2024.3/9~2024.3/17)សួស្តី (Hello)
As part of the Learning Satellite program, a training course was held in Cambodia in March 2024.
During the training, the participants learned about the development of aquaculture facilities and the current state of the marine products market with students from RUA (Royal University of Agriculture, Cambodia),
We discussed issues in English.
We were also able to experience the culture and history of Cambodia and realize how different it is from Japan.
We would like to thank the teachers, RUA students, Fisheries Agency staff, and Cambodian people who were kind to us during our fieldwork and at the store for this valuable experience.

ラーニングサテライトの一環として、2024年3月にカンボジアでの研修が行われました。
研修では、RUA(カンボジア王立農業大学)の学生とともに養殖施設の発展や海産物市場の現状を学び、
課題について英語で話し合いました。
また、カンボジアの文化や歴史に触れて、日本との違いを実感することができました。
貴重な体験をさせていただいた、先生方、RUAの学生、水産庁の職員の方、フィールドワークやお店で親切にしていただいたカンボジアの方々に感謝申し上げます。

As part of the Learning Satellite, a training program was held in Cambodia.
This was the first time in three years that the program was held due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
During the training, the participants communicated in English with students from RUA (Royal University of Agriculture, Cambodia) and conducted fieldwork at many places.
Although the training was only for a short period of time, everything we saw, ate, and heard was fresh and meaningful.
We would like to express my gratitude to the teachers, RUA students, and Cambodian people who were kind to us during our fieldwork and at the stores for giving us this valuable experience. សូមអរគុណ (Thank you so much)

新型コロナウイルスが流行した影響で、3年ぶりの開催となりました。
研修では、RUA(カンボジア王立農業大学)の学生と英語を使ってコミュニケーションをとり、様々な場所でフィールドワークを行いました。
短期間の研修でしたが、見るもの、食べるもの、聞くもの全てが新鮮で、有意義な毎日になりました。
