      Separate sediment samples　Absorb water (pore water) in sediments

      We will use multiple corers on Oshoro-Maru.



      The above process is performed on board the ship, and after disembarkation, the concentration of dissolved iron and the amount of acid volatile sulfide are measured in the student experiment.

      (Each group will receive analytical samples even if they do not participate in the shipboard training. In the event that sediment samples cannot be collected due to inclement weather or other reasons, changes will be made, such as using sediment samples from Funka-Bay)
