Cheering by Hokkaido University Cheering Squad

In the past, when the Oshoro-Maru set sail, the Faculty of Fisheries Sciences Cheering Squad saw her off.

However, in the past few years, the departure of the Oshoro-Maru has been lonely without the cheering squad because there were no members of the cheering squad.

So, the cheering squad from Sapporo came to Hakodate to see off the Oshoro-Maru's departure!

After cheering at the departure ceremony, they sang the Hokkaido University School Song, "Eternal Fortune”, and when the Oshoro-Maru left the harbor, they all sang the Fishery Wandering Song to see her off.

This was the first time for me to see a live cheering squad, and it was a very powerful and wonderful performance.
