Blue-green
algae and magnetic iron fine powder are placed in a beaker and stirred well,
and then a solution of flocculant is added under stirring. The blue-green algae
and magnetic iron will flocculate together. (Co-flocculation) The
flocs are collected on a neodymium magnet.
