In 2021, Shipboard Training Ⅱ will include a training voyage on the marine environment. The main focus will be on understanding the structure of the ocean and its relationship to primary production using water temperature, salinity, pressure, dissolved oxygen, and chlorophyll fluorescence acquired by a water temperature, salinity, and depth meter called a CTD (sensor installed at the bottom of the frame in the photo). In addition, water samples will be taken from bottles installed at the top of the photo for more accurate dissolved oxygen measurements and other measurements will be taken on board.
