Multiple corer collects 8 core samples of seafloor sediments. When the frame of the core sampler reaches the bottom of the sea, the sampling pipes penetrate slowly into the sediment, and the upper and lower lids close at the same time as it is pulled out. The sediment core samples show us the natural environment of the seafloor. We can analyze the chemical and biological interactions between sea and seafloor sediment.
